Hot Tomato

Everyone sits in a circle and passes the tomato from one person to the next. Someone calls time or stops the music
and the person left holding the tomato is out. Continue until there is only one person left.

Make Me Giggle
The title describes this game best because the object of the game is to make someone laugh! Choose a child to be first, and form a circle around him or her. Let the guests in the circle sing silly songs, tell jokes, or make funny faces to try and make the person in the middle laugh. As long as the circle does not touch the person in the middle (no tickling!), anything goes. See who can go the longest without laughing!

Tell a Tale
Seat your guests in a circle and read them a VeggieTales story. Or, if you prefer, you can let the children watch a VeggieTales video or cartoon. This is a wonderful activity for keeping the kids entertained, and it will help them calm down before they return home.

Jimmy Gourd's Garden Vegetable Dip

Hollow out a butternut squash to hold this creamy side for your favorite veggies.

3 cups plain fat-free yogurt

3 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper

3 tablespoons chopped green onions

3 tablespoons chopped radishes

1/4 teaspoon celery salt

Bite-size pieces vegetables
Mix all ingredients except vegetables in small bowl, using spoon.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour until chilled.
Serve with vegetables.
Makes 3 cups

Madame Blueberry Smoothies

2 cups milk, divided

2 cups blueberries

3 Tbsp. sugar

1 pint vanilla ice cream.

Combine 1 cups of milk and all other ingredients in container of an electric blender. Blend until almost smooth. Add remaining cup of milk for desired thickness. Pour mixture into glasses. Top each with a scoop of ice cream. Makes approximately 5 servings.

Bob the Tomato Cake

Start with a round cake and frost him in red frosting. Make two eyes out of two slightly flattened marshmallows. Add a brown M&M in each marshmallow. Draw a mouth with some white frosting and add a little green frosting on top to make a stem.
