Deluxe Beaded Tiara Kit For 8
Your birthday girl and her guests will feel like princesses when wearing these lovely tiaras. Kit includes materials and instructions to make 8 beautiful tiaras. NOTE: These tiaras may take some time to create due to their complexity. Therefore, we recommend that you have additional grown-ups on hand to assist, or begin assembling the tiaras a few days before the party, leaving the amethyst stone section for younger guests to complete. Finished tiaras are approximately 5" in diameter. (Ages 5 and up. Parent participation recommended.)

Secret Admirer

Your guests will enjoy being Beast and Belle in this fun game. Beast, a former prince cursed with his current looks until he can find true love, secretly admires Belle - but is too afraid to tell her!

To begin, choose a child to be Belle. Seat Belle in a chair and gently blindfold her. Choose another guest to be Beast, who disguises his or her voice and says "I’m your secret admirer." If Belle can guess the identity of Beast, Belle remains seated. When someone successfully stumps Belle, the two children trade places.

Chip’s Tea Cup Relay
To prepare for this game, cut four tea cup shapes from cardboard. Each tea cup should be approximately 12" x 15" in size. (Birthday Express shipping boxes work well for making them.) Bring the tea cups to life by drawing a happy face on each one; to make them look more like Chip, draw a tiny crack and cut a small piece from the rim of each tea cup as if it’s been broken off.

Divide your guests in two equal lines and give the first person in each line two tea cups. Participants must travel from the front of the line, around a chair, and back to the start - stepping only on the pair of tea cups they are given.

To begin, the first player on each team places one of their tea cups on the ground and steps on it with both feet. Then, he or she places the other tea cup on the ground and steps on it, etc. The game continues in this manner until the first players have completed the course and returned to their teams. The tea cups are passed to the next players, and the relay game continues until everyone has had a turn. The team that completes the course first, wins!

Belle’s Ballroom Dress-Up
Invite your guests to a ball in honor of Belle and her new prince! For the ladies, collect skirts, dresses, blouses, scarves, high-heeled shoes, wigs, ribbons, shawls, hats, gloves and costume jewelry to create your own dress-up box. If there are young men attending your party, make them a dress-up box with glasses, coats, ties, capes, top hats, old watches, fake mustaches, etc. (Neighbors, friends, relatives and secondhand stores are excellent sources for dress-up items.)

Encourage your guests to prepare themselves for the ball by donning the clothing and accessories of their choice. To make everyone feel like royalty, create crowns from construction paper and give one to each child. If possible, provide a mirror so everyone can admire themselves in the party room, or allow guests to use a mirror nearby. Set the mood with music while everyone dresses up. The movie soundtrack makes a wonderful background melody, if you have it.

Once your guests are elegantly attired, give them a chance to dance around to the music. During this perfect photo opportunity, use a Polaroid camera so you can send a photo home with each guest, (or e-mail digitial photos to everyone as a reminder of your wonderful party.) If you choose to use regular film, develop it as soon as possible and send a photo to each guest with a thank-you note from the birthday child.

Enchanted Castle Cake Pan
This creative castle pan can be used to make a cake fit for a princess or knight in shining armor. Simply follow the helpful guide, which includes tips for baking, frosting, and decorating, to make a cake your child will never forget. Castle-shaped pan serves approximately 12-15 children. (Dimensions: 12" x 11.5" at widest points.)

Tea Time
Be prepared to offer your guests a beverage other than real tea, in case they do not like it. Hot apple cider, cocoa, or iced apple juice make wonderful substitutions. Serve in tea cups!

Belle’s Fantastic Feast
This is truly a feast for your eyes as well as a snacker’s delight! On a large decorative tray, arrange a variety of visually appealing sandwich substitutes, including lettuce for filler. Try some of the following options for a great nutritional meal:

Belle’s Cheese Squares - Cube several kinds of cheese; decorate with frilly or colorful toothpicks.

Mrs. Potts’ Cream Cheese Rolls - Spread softened cream cheese on thinly-sliced ham and roll it up. Add pineapple to the cream cheese for more sweetness. Cut rolls into 1-1/2” lengths.

Cogsworth’s Celery Sticks - Fill stalks with peanut butter. Keep feathery ends for decoration.

Beast’s Enchanted Roses - Peel the outer layer of a carrot and discard. Continue peeling, making peels of assorted lengths and thicknesses. (Thin peels are easier to curl.) Assemble roses by arranging several peels inside one another, placing the larger ones on the outside. Gradually stack the peels in a rounded shape, with shortest, curliest peels on top. Spear an olive on a toothpick into the middle of your rose to hold it together.

Lumiere’s “Snack-ers” - Choose several different shapes and flavors of crackers and serve on the snack tray with cheese cubes and vegetables.

Gaston’s Fruit Kabobs - Select a variety of seasonal fruits, rounding melons into balls, and slicing your child’s favorites into bite-size pieces. Spear pieces of each on every skewer to make a pretty pattern. Stick skewers in an upside down melon half. Display in the center of your tray!

Chip’s Silly Sandwiches - Your guests will giggle when they see these finger snacks. Make sandwiches; cut into fun shapes with a cookie cutter.

Rainbow Fruit Parfait
This refreshing treat is sure to hit the spot! In a parfait cup, layer: yogurt (any flavor), granola, and fresh fruit (pineapple, blueberries, strawberries and raspberries work well). Top it off with whipped topping and serve with a long handled spoon!

2. Get close, fill the frame with the subject(s) you are wanting to capture.
3. Take action photos, capture the thrills and emotions by taking candid pictures.
4. Focus on small groups or individuals, you do not need to have every guest in every photo.
5. When you have your film developed, order extra prints and send them to the parents afterward.
